Academy Schools can save money on processing of their admission applications.
Mossbourne City Academy was referred to Ayrmer Software Limited by an existing client in the private sector, having successfully delivered a complex, bespoke online system. They initially approached us in 2006, to develop a bespoke web based admissions application.
With the government announcement last year encouraging more schools to become academies and free schools will enable them to take control of their own budgets. The systems developed by Ayrmer Software are sure to help schools in their financial control and provide an excellent return on investment.
The web based admission system - developed by Ayrmer Software - enables Mossbourne City Academy to process applications received from their local authority in accordance with their admission policy that includes distance from the school (which the system calculates and input into the application ranking).

Mossbourne City Academy have been using the system successfully since 2006, when they referred us to another academy in the London area. The newly founded academy is looking to opt-out of the admissions data processing service provided by their local authority, because the costs have doubled this year and are looking for a way to keep cost under control.
Ayrmer Software are currently working to create a similar system to the one developed by Mossbourne City Academy that will enable them to process the application lists they receive from the local authority themselves according to their own admissions policy (include a distance measured criteria). The system is simple, easy to use and enables the school to process the data quickly and efficiently, enabling them to return the processed admissions data to the local authority, who then process the applicant's preferences and send out the offer letters.
Schools can potentially save thousands of pounds every year that they will be able to put towards providing high quality education to their pupils.
