Pretty Greek Villas initially approached us in December 2004, shortly after the Summer Olympic Games. The website - originally designed by a third party - hadn't attracted many enquiries and the business owners obviously wanted this addressed straight away. Our initial remit was to get the site listed on the first page of Google for terms like "greek villas" and "self catering accommadation, greece" and achieved this in time for the traditionally, busy booking period in January 2005.
Towards the end of last year the business decided to migrate to a content management system as the number of properties, photographs, etc., on the site was becoming almost impossible to maintain using a static web site.

The new web site has been developed using an updated version of our unique framework - Project Golem - that provides users with an intuitive user interface for maintaining the site. The content management system has been adapted for Pretty Greek Villas, enabling them to organise villas into regions and provides additional information about each area. The administrative user interface include a unique widget menu that makes finding the villa details a doddle!
The content management system also enables the owners to manipulate the meta tags and other elements of the HTML output to ensure their search engine rankings aren't damaged.

The result has been great.
The aim was to maintain the flavour of the old site which had become familiar within the
marketplace but to bring a fresh and modern feel with increased usability.
One of the main goals was to increase the aesthetics of how we displayed photographs of
the product (holiday villas). We now have a content management system which is so simple
to use that someone without much computer experience can update the website after one or
two hours of training. No more complicated HTML coding issues or odd anomalies that arise
when using programs like Microsoft Frontpage and Dreamweaver to upload changes on a site.
From a time saving point of view the result is amazing. The system is consistent in the
implementation of data and looks the part as well as being easy to use, from the point
of the person making the day to day changes to the client looking at our product with the
view to purchase. The better the product looks, the more likely the client is to book,
it's that simple.
The result is that the product looks fabulous and we hope and expect that this will have a
positive result on sales. I am sure it will.
The working process has been explained clearly by the team at Ayrmer Software and the
continued support with other IT issues, social media and modern telephony (VOIP) has been
of great benefit. This level of commitment to a clients individual needs, in this over
complicated technological world where it is so important to make the right choices is
something that is rarely found and much appreciated. The advise and service given has been
unquestionably first rate and we will continue our co-operation with the very professional
team at Arymer Software.
