government policy. With the option to opt out of local authority control and be in charge of their own budgets,
academies can save thousands by also opting out of the processing of their admissions.
We have developed a secure web based admission system for a number of the established academies to enable them to quickly and effectively process the lists of new pupil applicants they receive from their local authorities. The system enables the academies to process and rank the applicants according to the schools published admission policy.
We found Ayrmer Software to be extremely helpful and comprehensive in understanding
our needs.
The project has made our task much simpler, quicker and we are able easily to deal
with queries, particularly relevant through the appeals process.

The system we built for Mossbourne has been running successully for a number of years and we have been able to adapt it to reflect the ever changing requirements of the local authorities.
The administrator simply securely logs into their control panel, imports the list of applicants in, selects processes. The ranked results can then be exported in a variety of formats including Comma Separated Value (CSV) to send back to their respective local authorities to process school preferences and send out offer letters.
