Freetrawl website launched

freetrawl Endowment policy specialists, PolicyPlus International awarded Ayrmer Software the contract to re-develop their endowment policy trading platform last year.

Ayrmer Software produced comprehensive definition of requirements, detailing the existing system and proposing a number of enhancements to help streamline the business process. Working with the existing design team (Maze) to allow seamless link between the content management system and the endowment policy trading platform. The system was delivered on time and to specification, including some extra enhancement discussed and agreed during the development of the new system.

The endowment policy trading platform was rolled out with very little downtime, avoiding any disruption to what is an extremely busy website. Freetrawl is used by thousands of Independant Financial Advisors (IFA) on a daily basis.

The launch and reception went exceptionally well causing little or no additional techical support. The majority of users adapted to the enhanced user interface without needing to contact the technical support team.

The new trading platform has allowed the business to "future-proof" developments, as Ayrmer Software can expand and change the system as and when necessary. FreeTrawl staff have seen great efficiencies gained, reducing the number of staff required to support the day to day running of the trading platform.
