Issues

Kestrel Construction Limited asked us to develop a database application that would assist their sales team with managing new business opportunities. This was especially relevant for their sector as the lead times for most contracts can literally be years and it was important to maintain good communications throughout the sales cycle, enabling the team to cultivate good business relationships with all the stakeholders involved.

Outcomes

The proposed system had to be integrated with their email server - Microsoft Exchange - so that the system could link emails to business opportunities and generate automated emails to keep communications open.

Solution

The system has now been in place for four years and has been extremely successful. It is fully integrated with their email server and uses Crystal Reports to generate Management Information (MI) reports.

We have continued to supported the system since its initial implementation, issuing a couple of updated versions that were required as the business needs changed.
