CoB credit and debit card processing

We are delighted to announce that we can now offer credit and debit card processing on behalf of after school clubs and schools, using our out of school booking system - The Childcare on-line Booking (CoB) system - subject to terms and conditions. This significantly reduces the process of getting your out of school booking system implemented by removing the, often complicated and lengthy, step of applying for an internet merchant account and payment gateway.

In addition to this, the Childcare on-line Booking (CoB) system supports WorldPay, SagePay and PayPal integrations for after school clubs and schools that already have a merchant account.

We're constantly striving to improve CoB and have recently rolled out:

• Annual and Residential Payments: the largest update so far, we have added the ability to setup and take scheduled payments for annual and residential trips..
• Forthcoming Sessions: booking administrators can now control how many days in the future sessions will show on the dashboard; default is to show everything in the next 2 weeks (14 days).
• Restricted Viewing of Sessions: booking administrators have the ability to only show certain sessions to either children attending the "Home" school or where their parents are marked as staff.
• Discount for "Home" School: separate rates for children attending a certain school (usually the school running the childcare).

We are currently improving the accouting on the system to utilise full double entry bookkeeping, ensuring bookings and all other associated fees can be easily audited. We're also building a comprehensive Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) for CoB users, based upon technical support tickets since we launched CoB last Autumn that will be published via the administrative user interface shortly. We are also in the process of creating creating a number of tutorial videos that will be published via our official youtube channel to help administrative staff and parents alike to use CoB.
