settling in well to new home in Wiltshire
Ayrmer Software has settled in well to their new base in Portmarsh Trading Estate on the edge of Calne in Wiltshire. The business moved to it's new head quarters last December, having relocated from Devon, to be closer to their clients and within striking distance of London, Bristol and the Midlands.
The new offices have gone down well with their client base, as most have seen the move to Wiltshire as a very positive step forward. It's also anticipated that recruitment should be less challenging, based within striking distance of the M4 corridor.
Ayrmer Software have won a number of major new contracts, since establishing itself in Wiltshire with new clients in Bristol, Coventry, London and Southampton. They are currently talking to new clients in Manchester, Oxford and London, whilst also looking after their existing client base across the United Kingdom.
They are currently recruiting a software developer (see below) and are anticipating further growth through the summer months with a number of enquiries for their after school clubs booking system and other bespoke software based projects.
Ayrmer Software are recruiting for their office based in Calne, Wiltshire. We are looking for an experienced desktop / web developer. The successful applicant will work for a variety of clients on bespoke projects, usually taking responsibility for full post sale / analysis life-cycle.
Working with interesting clients on creative projects you will have an opportunity to make your mark and run projects from outset to delivery. They are looking for applicants who are imaginative, responsible and work well to a deadline.
The ideal candidate for this position is someone who is looking for a more holistic role in software development, including client facing meetings.
Responsibilities:
+ Object Orientated Software Development working under the company's bespoke framework in either web or desktop based projects.
+ Working with other members of the team on larger projects.
+ Liaising with client's project manager to ensure implementation throughout development life cycle and user acceptance testing.

They have launched our latest after after school clubs booking system for schoolfriendclub Limited, having extended our after school clubs booking system with the introduction of PayPal as an alternative payment gateway to SagePay. Ayrmer Software updated their booking system to ensure clients can comply with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) in January.
Ayrmer Software have released an alpha of their major new version of Latload - a simulation application used by the gas and oil industry - for Centek Limited now in alpha release. Originally developed using Visual Basic ten years ago, they are using C# to develop the latest version, which is due for release this Autumn.
New online application for Mission Performance, enabling them to launch their Clarity, Culture and Interdependence Questionnaire (CCI-Q) portal very soon.
They are in the closing stages of developing a new participant interface for Summit Events that they have been working on through May and June, ready for their Human Resource Summit in October.
